Webinar – June 1, 2010
On June 1, 2010 I hosted the first Webinar for the students of the class.
It was a learning experience for all of us. Because it was my first webinar, I thought it would be good for everyone to be able to talk with each other while the presentation was in progress.
Well, I soon learned that this was a mistake. Background noise from some of the students made the recording noisy. I apologize for this.
From now on, all students will be muted and will have to click the “Raise Your Hand” button to, well, raise your hand so I see that someone what to ask a question or say something. I will un-mute one person at a time so everyone can hear their question or statement. This will make the recording easier to hear, too.

You Will Need Apple Quicktime To View These Videos. If You Do Not Have Quicktime, Or Are Having Trouble Viewing The Videos Please Download Here. |

hi mike,
had no problem getting here, but i seem to recall years ago you recommended staying away from quick time-is there no longer with this?

Hi Don,
I hope you had to problem getting here. This page is currently available to the public. You don’t have to log in to see it. I hope you don’t think this is the page that I requested you visit in the email I just sent. It requires that you log in and try Module 2. If you get there, follow the instructions.
As for Quicktime. I don’t recall ever saying don’t use it. I’ve said a lot of things pro and con about Quicktime, though. Maybe you were thinking of Real Player? I have said not to use that.
I am using Quicktime for the webinars because I needed the high quality video compression Quicktime offers for long videos.
Mike
I sent you an email but then I saw this for comments, so here I am again.
I downloaded Apple Quicktime (even though using a PC) and I still cannot see the Webinar Video. I think I need new instructions.
Mike, I am happy that this is working, so far. Talk to you soon. Looking forward to the next webinar.
